Isla's First Trip to Disneyland

Sweet Isla's first trip to Disneyland at six weeks old.

Finley and Landon sitting in a chair at Minnie Mouse's house.
Trying to get a photo with three kids all looking at you is, well, I don't know. It has never happened.

Sitting on Minnie Mouse's bed.

Driving Mickey Mouse's car. Beep beep!!

I love that smile.

Toon Town jail

Driving the Toon Town Fire Engine. Sorry you are so upset Miles, but that face is making me laugh. Haha. You are even cute when you are mad.

We cut his hair pretty short and people keep asking me if he is bald. He actually has a fair amount of hair here, it is just really blonde.

She was so happy to just chill and people watch. She is starting to come out of the super sleepy newborn stage and be more aware of her surroundings. So much fun. I love this stage.

A little sheep hat to keep her head warm in the evening.

Finley having a great time at Disneyland.

Beach Day

So, we definitely love going to the beach. The kids have a blast and always sleep great that night, a bonus for sure. We decided to take them to Laguna last week, and after a mere three hours of preparation and packing the 547,000 items that are required to take four kids under the age of five to the beach, we were off! Haha. It is a lot of work to get everyone ready, but the payoff is totally worth it. Four kids that love to have fun in the sun and lots of family memories to last a lifetime.

Miles playing in the sand. He wasn't so sure about it at first, but it didn't take long for him to be absolutely covered. Haha. Mommy just has to make sure to keep that cute bald head covered in sunscreen, since you can see how he feels about his hat. :)

Isla enjoying  the ocean breezes like a true Southern California girl.

Miss Finley has always loved the beach. We do her birthday party at the beach every year, but more on that later. She always has a great time, our little beach girl. She never hesitates to remind us that whenever we get around to it, she would like us to buy a house on the beach so that she can be there every day. We are working on it, sweet girl. Just another twenty or so years of saving, haha.

Brothers digging a hole, of course.

Could there possibly be more sand on this boy? I feel like I find sand on him for days, even after multiple baths. Seriously, how is there still sand in his ears!?

Daddy dug them a little hole that they kept filled with water. Landon played in there for hours. He is a bit more cautious about the waves than his older sister, but he sure does love digging holes and playing with his trucks.

She was showing of the snail she found. She is so nurturing. She wanted to take care of that poor little snail. Haha.

It was another great day at the beach and we will definitely be back soon. Just another perk of living in sunny Southern California. :)

A blog!

Hello.
I had been thinking about starting to keep a blog again in an attempt to keep everyone updated with current pictures of the kids and with the happenings of our rather crazy household. Plus I think someday I will be glad that I took the time to do some documenting of what life is like in this season because I am relatively sure that I will not remember, because, you know, sleep deprivation is no joke. It's a miracle I haven't fallen asleep in the middle of writing this. Haha. Anyways, I am going to try and update at least once a week, so check back!
